Buyers

For most people to accept an offer, they will need to know that you can afford to purchase their home.  So to be prepared, you can visit your financial institution of choice to find out what you qualify for and obtain a mortgage certificate.  Please bear in mind that you will also need details of an attorney-at-law to submit an offer.

Tenants

​A landlord wants to be assured that the rent for the property will be paid each month and their home is looked after as if it were your own.  For this reason, some of the following documents may be required prior to embarking on a property rental:-

  • Police certificate of Character

  • 2 References from previous landlords

  • Job Letter

  • 2 recent payslips

  • Proof of Ownership

  • House is provided in a clean & habitable state

  • Necessary fire safety measures

Sellers

When selling your home, Buyers are more likely to consider purchasing and pay the asking price if your home is well maintained, clean, clutter-free and tidy.

It is also a good idea to ensure that your land tax is up-to-date and that you have had a recent valuation to confirm that the asking price is in lin e with market trends and will encourage buyers that they are getting good value for money.
